Help Send Peers does not provide psychotherapy, counseling, or any licensed mental health treatment. Participation in our peer or coaching Services:

  • Does not create a therapist–client, doctor–patient, or other clinical treatment relationship

  • Is not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or psychological care

You are encouraged to consult with a licensed healthcare or mental health professional for diagnosis, treatment, or individualized clinical advice.

2.3 Not for Emergencies or Crises
Help Send Peers is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, call your local emergency number (such as 911 in the U.S.), contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (if available in your area), or go to the nearest emergency room or crisis center.
